Description
Down-the-hole drilling pipes are used for connecting DTH hammers and drilling bits. Manufactured from seamless steel tubing, they are the key accessories for all types of DTH drilling operation and play a critical role in operation. High-quality drilling pipes offer exceptional durability, precision and operability, ensuring efficient drilling.
All DTH drilling pipes are manufactured with friction welding technology. Threaded connections typically comply with API standards, with special specifications available upon request, such as 2 3/8-inch, 3 1/2-inch API REG threads, and API IF threads. Customization is available to meet client requirements, with lengths ranging from 1000mm to 5000mm and outer diameters including 50mm, 60mm, 76mm, 89mm, 102mm, 114mm, 127mm, and 140mm.
The DTH drilling pipe is manufactured from quality materials, with heat treatment performed in an integrated multi-functional furnace. All threads undergo precision turning on specialized CNC equipment. The inner ends of the rod body feature thickened sections, significantly enhancing weld strength. Following friction welding, the components undergo tempering treatment to ensure drill rod quality and performance, thereby effectively extending service life.

● The drilling pipe threads undergo nitriding treatment to enhance surface hardness and wear resistance.
● The main body of pipe adopts DZ50 material for improving overall wear resistance and strength. The threaded connections adopts the specialized material 35CrMo for precisely improving the performance on connections.
● Thickened design reduces overall drilling pipe weight while maintains weld seam strength integrity.
