Tunnel excavation involves complex conditions demanding stringent precision, efficiency, and safety in drilling operations. Our down-the-hole drilling tools leverage core advantages of deep penetration, high efficiency, low energy consumption, and strong adaptability. They are widely applied across four key applications: pile driving and micro-piling, foundation drilling, environmental exploration, and blasting holes. Each scenario features dedicated drill rigs and tooling specifications precisely tailored to meet specific construction requirements.

Piling and micro-piling are primarily used for tunnel rock reinforcement and slope support, requiring adaptation to confined working spaces within tunnels. Our compact down-the-hole drilling rigs are paired with specialized down-the-hole drilling tools for this purpose. Drill tools range from Φ76mm to Φ127mm in diameter, paired with compact down-the-hole hammers, high-strength alloy steel drill pipes, and cross-type/button carbide drill bits. This configuration ensures efficient drilling while guaranteeing precise borehole verticality and depth accuracy, thereby establishing a robust foundation for tunnel support systems.

Foundation drilling (including lining foundations, anchor bolt/cable installation, etc.) demands high precision and stable efficiency. Our medium-sized tracked down-the-hole drill rigs are selected for this purpose, with specialized models available for deep drilling applications. Drilling tools utilize Φ108mm-Φ219mm specifications, paired with dedicated impactors, wear-resistant drill pipes, and corresponding button or cross-type drill bits. This ensures smooth borehole walls, meeting subsequent requirements for embedded part installation, concrete pouring, and other processes.

Environmental exploration drilling is used to predict geological hazards around tunnels, primarily using portable down-the-hole drilling rigs. Drilling tools are selected with diameters ranging from 50 mm to 89 mm, and include micro-impactors, thin-walled drilling pipes, and pointed-tooth/scraper-type drilling bits. This configuration enables precise, low-noise drilling operations to accurately detect geological conditions adjacent to tunnels and provide robust support for construction safety.

Blasting holes is a core process in tunnel excavation. High-strength impactors, impact-resistant and wear-resistant drill pipes, and button drilling bits are recommended for drilling. These measures significantly enhance rock drilling efficiency, ensuring the proper formation of the tunnel cross-section after blasting and reducing the risk of over- or under-excavation. This also lowers subsequent finishing costs.

We supply reliable products and provide customers with precise equipment selection and tailored solutions based on specific tunnel excavation conditions, ensuring efficient, safe, and orderly progress of tunnel projects.
